The newest way
to diagnosis
In the medical field, there are numerous external factors that can negatively interfere with the diagnosis of a pathology. We need to reduce these factors as much as possible, allowing us to achieve our mission: optimizing the work of medical professionals
The Study of Pathologies
The study of pathology through histological slides is a fascinating and essential field in medicine. It allows us to understand the morphological basis of diseases. Histological slides are prepared from tissue samples, such as biopsies or surgical specimens, and stained with specific dyes. Under the microscope, they reveal details about cellular architecture, the presence of inflammation, cell proliferation, and other features. Pathologists examine these slides to identify diseases, such as cancer, infections, and autoimmune diseases.

Global Cancer Incidence
- Global Estimates: According to the World Health Organization (WHO), in 2022, there were 22 million new cases of cancer reported, resulting in 9.7 million deaths related to this disease1. These numbers are alarming and underscore the ongoing significance of cancer research, prevention, and treatment on a global scale.
- Lifetime Risk: The report also reveals that 1 in every 5 men and 1 in every 6 women worldwide will develop cancer during their lifetimes. Additionally, 1 in every 8 men and 1 in every 10 women will lose their lives due to this disease. These data underscore the need for effective prevention and early detection strategies.
Brazilian Cancer Incidence
Brazilian Estimates: The Instituto Nacional de Câncer (INCA) provides annual estimates for new cancer cases in Brazil. For the 2023-2025 period, it is expected that there will be 341,350 new cases of cancer in the country12. These estimates play a crucial role in shaping health policies and prevention programs.
The most common types of cancer in Brazilian men include prostate cancer, colon and rectal cancer, trachea/bronchus/lung cancer, and stomach cancer.Among women, the most frequent cancers are breast cancer, colon and rectal cancer, cervical cancer, and trachea/bronchus/lung cancer.
Cancer Mortality
Deaths in Brazil (2021):
- Men: The leading causes of cancer-related deaths in men include prostate cancer, trachea/bronchi/lungs cancer, and colon and rectal cancer.
- Women: Among women, breast cancer, trachea/bronchi/lungs cancer, and colon and rectal cancer account for the highest number of fatalities.
Skin Carcinoma
Skin carcinoma refers to the abnormal growth of skin cells. It most commonly develops on skin that has been exposed to sunlight, but it can also occur in areas not ordinarily exposed to the sun.
Breast Cancer
Breast cancer is a disease in which abnormal breast cells grow out of control and form tumors. These tumors can spread throughout the body and become fatal if left unchecked. The process begins inside the milk ducts and/or the milk-producing lobules of the breast.
Prostate Cancer
Prostate cancer is a disease that occurs in the prostate, a small walnut-shaped gland found in males. The prostate produces seminal fluid, which nourishes and transports sperm. This type of cancer is one of the most common and affects the male reproductive system. Many prostate cancers grow slowly and remain confined to the prostate gland, often causing no serious harm
